Thomas Spanos, a charismatic retired Ford employee,
entered into eternal rest peacefully December 23, 2020
surrounded by his loving family at age 74.
His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile.
Tom was born on March 12th, 1946 to Despina and George Spanos in Samos, Greece.
He was one of three children. As a child, he loved singing Christmas carols in his village.
On June 24th, 1984 he married Theresa "Terry"(nee Derga) in a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding.
With Terry, he achieved what he believed to be his greatest accomplishments;
raising amazing children and over 36 years of marriage.
He was an avid card player and a faithful church member with a great sense of humor.
His jolly personality is seen in his young granddaughter, Chloe.
Thomas George Spanos died December 23rd at his home surrounded by his immediate family.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jim.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Theresa, brother Nick (Koula), 5 children and their spouses,
Despina, Loula, George, Jennifer (Christopher), Alexis, and his 4 grandchildren.

Private services to be held. Interment St. Theodosius Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date when it is safe to gather.
