Emmanuel D. Papadopoulos, age 85 entered into rest peacefully Friday, May 15th with his loving
family surrounding him. Beloved husband of Pagona (nee Glyptis).
Loving father of Chris (Mary) and the late George.
Dearest Pappou of Christina and Carter.
Dear brother of the late Socrates and Sylvia.
Dear uncle and friend of many.
Emmanuel worked as a machinist at Cleveland Twist Drill until his retirement.
He was a benefactor to his churches, where he served on the parish council at Sts. Constantine
and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral. He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He was an avid gardener and handyman, always willing to help his friends.
His greatest joy was raising canaries for 28 years.
The family want to thank the Cleveland Clinic Hospice for the compassion and care they provided.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Annunciation
Greek Orthodox church 2187 W. 14 Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44113 or the Sts. Constantine &
Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral 3352 Mayfield Rd. Cleveland, Ohio 44118.
