NIKOLAOS THEODORE ZARKANITIS age 58,
passed away August 17, 2019 after a brief illness.
Beloved husband of Olga (nee Tsirambidis).
Most loving son of Theodore (deceased)
and Asimina (nee Mamai) Zarkanitis.
Devoted brother of Vasiliki (Konstantinos) Kanis.
Loving uncle of George Kanis (Sotiria), Theodoros Kanis (Georgia),
Haralambos, Anna, Marina, Dionysi, Andromahe, and Anna Tsirambidis.
Adoring great uncle of Vasiliki, Efthimis, & Antonia Kanis.
Niko was a true intellect who had a passion for history and good conversation.
He was loved by everyone. He had a rare gift of knowledge and could engage in discussion
on any topic with any age group, young or old.
Niko loved cooking, cars, hunting, and playing a great game of poker with friends.
He made people feel important when they spoke with him and
often had a word of wisdom on life issues.
Niko traveled frequently and often with his wife Olga,
and together they spoiled their nieces and nephews.

All funeral services will be held Monday, August 26th,
11am at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church
2183 West 14th at Fairfield Cleveland,
where family will receive friends from 10am until time of service.
Burial will be at St. Theodosius Cemetery.
