Joyce M. (Powell) Janollari

Joyce May (Powell) Janollari, age 91 of Westlake, Ohio, entered into rest peacefully on Friday, January 4, 2019 after a brief illness.  Joyce attended Collinwood High School from the 7th to 11th grade.  When her family moved to the west side, she graduated in January, 1946 from West Tech High School.  A career homemaker, Joyce had a passion for cooking,baking wedding cakes, and sewing. 

This beautiful, beloved woman is survived by three of her children, Gloria (Janollari) Cichon, Andrew Janollari (Kathleen) and Ted Janollari.  Joyce is also survived by one brother, Richard Powell.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Carrie (Bennett) Powell, her husband, Dhori Janollari, and her daughters, Carol McDonald and Joanie Pittman, and her brothers, Robert, Glenn & Stanley Powell.

Joyce has eight grandchildren, Millisa Leeder (John), Sara Janollari, Matt Schuster (Allison), Wyatt Janollari (Vanessa), Tony Schuster, Erin Randall (Tyler), Amanda Pittman and Michelle Janollari.  She has  fourteen great grandchildren, John III, Christopher & Lauren Leeder, Anthony, Makayla, Andrew and Emersyn Janollari, Max, Joel & Hattie Randall, Makayla Schuster, Kaylynn Hannan, Hailey Mertz and Athena Stancu.  Great-great grandmother of Bradyn Leeder.

Dear aunt of Janet, Judy & Jeffrey, Victoria, Marian & Louis, Alethia, Junia, & Alexis Michelle, Samantha & Traci, Amy & Allison, and great aunt of Benward, Caroline, Amber & Joseph, Scott & Jennifer.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to your favorite charity in Joyce's name.  The family held a private commemoration of her life.
